TEENS

A curated experience for those in 6th to 12th Grade.

Dive into reading about anything and everything that interests you for a chance to win prizes,

With creative activities to have fun all summer long.

The Vibe:

  1. Read whatever you want: The more minutes you spend reading, the greater your chances at winning prizes.

  2. Not sure what to read?: You’re in luck! The Maplewood Library’s teen librarian, as well as librarians from South Orange Public Library, Columbia High School, Maplewood Middle School, and South Orange Middle School put together suggestions for you. Click here for the middle school list and here for the high school list.

  3. All reading formats and genres are valid: Do you love comics and graphic novels? Read those. Prefer audiobooks? No problem. There will be no genre- or format-shaming here.

If there’s a title you want, but don’t see on our shelves, be sure to check Hoopla Digital and Libby for eBook and audiobook copies, as well as our online catalog for additional print copies.
